Our Africa Workshop Tour has officially begun – and Dakar, Senegal, set the tone from the very first session.
We came to share our knowledge, our experience and our understanding of HipHop and Jazz Dance culture. But what we experienced in return was just as powerful.
The level of rhythm, body control and musicality we encountered was remarkable. The dancers brought a natural connection to movement that is deeply rooted in their culture – raw, authentic and immediate.
Our first workshops focused on 90’s HipHop and Jazz Dance foundations. What stood out most was not only how fast the dancers absorbed new material, but the energy and openness they brought into the space.
This tour is not about teaching alone.
It is about exchange, connection and building bridges between cultures.
We are grateful for every session, every dancer and every moment that allows us to grow – together.
More to come.
